Mike is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience in individual taxation, foreign reporting, trusts, private foundations, public foundations, family partnerships, and other closely-held businesses. He also has experience coaching financial wellness for the executives and employees of a large public company and hospital. Prior to joining Joseph C. Kempe Professional Association, Mike was a Tax Manager with Proctor, Crook, Crowder & Fogal, CPAs & Associate’s and spent several years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in their Personal Financial Services Group based out of the Miami and West Palm Beach offices.
Mike serves a wide variety of clients including high net worth individuals, businesses, entrepreneurial families, and real estate developers. These services often comprise taking a holistic approach to wealth planning that encumbers such things as income taxes, wealth and transfer planning, charitable giving, aircraft and yacht purchases, and business transactions.
Mike graduated with both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accounting from the University of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounting (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and a Stuart/ Martin Cjounty LEADERship Alumni.
Mike and his wife Loryn are long term residents of the Treasure Coast and Loryn is a first grade teacher at Felix A. Williams in Stuart, Florida.
